Drabble: White
By ALBA

FANDOM: Lord of the Rings - Real Person Slash

RATING: PG-13 at most

SUMMARY: Just... fluff.

DISCLAIMER: Wow, I have to do a new disclaimer here! Okay, the characters mentioned in this story do not belong to me, they belong to J.R.R. Tolkien's estate. I merely borrowed them and will return them when I'm finished with them. I am making no money off this fiction, in fact, I'm paying for it to even BE here. So don't sue me because I am flat broke. PrettySparklyDanceBoys broke my bank.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: A drabble was something that I originally became familiar with in the nsync slash fandom (thanks to Diana (butterfly) on Livejournal) and I decided to play with it in the LOTR fandom. A drabble is a story written in exactly 100 words. No more. :) It's harder than it sounds, trust me!

White

Beginning was always hardest.

“This is a story about love...” No, even though it was in a way.

“Truth is often the hardest to hear.” Yes, that worked. He began to write, filling the white page before him with black handwriting. Lines of ink marching across the page, telling a story meant for one person alone. Glancing over at his lover, still sleeping, he had to smile.

“To love another person is to see the face of God,” he softly quoted, watching as the first yellow rays hit the white room. As the sun rose, his world faded to black.
